Dear Readers
Well, that managed to avoid the negative scenarios that were described in my posts relating to forecast elections in Ukraine.
Now Ukraine's new president - Viktor Yanukovych. Before him a lot of very complex and interesting problems of governing the country.
And although I do not really believe that he and his team are able to cope with them, yet hope remains.
Priorities:
1. Definition of economic priorities. As Ukraine's geopolitical position - an agrarian country, and transit. Therefore, agriculture, processing industry and transport infrastructure - the most important, strategically important areas of development.
2. Historically, the East of Ukraine is built numerous industrial centers. The task of updating obsolete material and technical base of these companies, buying and implementing new technologies is highly relevant to them.

President - a figure which, in theory, should determine the strategic direction of the country and foster conditions that allow this development.
To ensure that these conditions have been formed, it is necessary and sufficient to adopt a series of important decisions:
1. To revive the Free Economic Zones, to create technology parks, which will introduce new technologies;
2. To ensure favorable for the development of industry and agriculture, fiscal policy.
3. Consistently protectionist customs policy. In other words, inflate the import customs duties for goods whose analogues are produced domestically and reduce export duties for goods from the exporting country (thereby increasing the competitiveness of Ukrainian goods on the world market).
4. Simplify the procedures for starting a business, in every way to expand the number of existing business enterprises.
5. Revise taxation policies for small and medium businesses, providing preferences to enterprises that produce their own products.
6. To legitimize the corruption, turning it into a form of official arrangements between government and business, and thereby an additional influx of funds into the budget of the country (you can set a tax of 10% of the official conclusion of corrupt transactions). At the same time, believe me, nothing terrible will happen - just all the arrangements made will be carried out better.
7. Abolish the existing legal provisions, relating to what a public servant should not have their own business and has no right to work in commercial structures. This rule is law, and so actually does not work, its abolition just eliminate another lie from the public consciousness.
8. Announced a policy under the name "Step by step!" Essence of which is a gradual, step by step improvement of the overall economic situation in the country, where basic economic indicators gradually tenths of a percent, growing each month. This course will allow people to see the real results of the President and not expect too much at once: one small step for the better - this is good.
9. Implement judicial reform, introducing the election of judges.

10. Adopt a law on freedom of language use and the freedom philosophy. The state should opt out of the scope of regulation to which language to think or speak citizens, as well as areas relating to intellectual activity, philosophy, history and ideology - that the State should not support any particular interpretation of history, whatever else philosophy and ideology. In essence, this means freedom of conscience and freedom of thought - the humanistic values, in line with which Europe has developed from the Renaissance.

Many of the problems listed here are likely to appear utopian, but from my point of view, this is just another step toward democracy and openness, when the government's actions are transparent, and civil servants have less reason to lie. Ultimately, it will be beneficial for their health :-) . And the citizens against the experienced economic difficulties, will remain proud of their country. All the same it is pleasant to live in a country where elections are truly democratic. No other country of the CIS can not boast of this. :-)
